On this occasion, the Youth Institute (Injuve) of Mexico City has organized the Poketorneo, an event aimed at Pokémon fans and the gamer community in general. The tournament seeks to provide young people with the opportunity to showcase their skills as Pokémon trainers and enjoy a day full of fun and competition.

The event, scheduled for Saturday, February 22, will take place at the Injuve facilities located at Calzada México-Tacuba 235, colonia Un Hogar para Nosotros, Miguel Hidalgo borough, Mexico City. The competition will start at 8:30 AM and will be open to young people aged 12 to 29 residing in Mexico City.

In addition to the tournament itself, attendees will be able to enjoy a themed bazaar and a cosplay area, aimed at promoting the popular economy and fostering healthy interaction among participants. At the end of the tournament, an awards ceremony will be held where the following prizes will be awarded: - First place: Nintendo Switch Lite - Second place: Pokémon Go! device - Third place: gaming headphones with a microphone
